Artworks on Salvaged Metal by Brothers of Light

I first came on Brothers of Light’s winsome, witty aesthetic on the streets of Jerusalem quite a few a long time ago. I was an instantaneous lover. Currently on perspective at 30 Yefet Avenue — a stately, atmospheric making in Jaffa — is From Filth, a delightfully intriguing exhibition showcasing dozens of artworks fashioned this earlier calendar year from metals located outside the house the brothers’ studio room. Highlighted over is Crossing the Bridge — fabricated with industrial paint on salvaged metallic. Many a lot more photographs I captured when viewing the exhibition earlier this 7 days comply with:

“Everything Is Non permanent,” Industrial paint on located steel

“No Agony No Gain” and “Cuchara” to its left, Industrial paint on discovered metal kitchen area utensils

“What Do You Eat?” Industrial paint on found steel kitchen area utensil

“Time Sinking,” Industrial paint on found steel

“Suddenly,” Industrial paint on uncovered steel

“Throwback,” Industrial paint on located metal

Phase of exhibition largely featuring compact works–

Developed by Brothers of Mild — genuine-existence siblings, Elna and Gab — and curated by Hadas Glazer, From Dirt is at once  environmentally aware and aesthetically partaking. It carries on by way of Saturday night with a closing celebration commencing at 6pm. A quick movie by Amalia Zilbershatz-Banay and Dan Deutsch accompanies the exhibition.
